I am interested in the idea that we are all cosmic, special, spiritual beings. When I am drawing these people from life, I'm not only looking fro the physical features that are right in front of me. I am also looking for the energy, their life energy, the aura that surrounds them. I want to capture the emotion and energy with "complicated simplicity."
